Rehabilitationssport (Gesundheitssport)
Rehabilitationssport, auch Rehasport genannt, ist eine ärztlich verordnete Maßnahme, die in Gruppen unter Anleitung qualifizierter Übungsleiter durchgeführt wird. Ziel ist es, Menschen mit Behinderungen oder von Behinderung Bedrohten zu helfen, ihre körperliche Leistungsfähigkeit zu verbessern und die Teilhabe am gesellschaftlichen Leben zu fördern. Die Übungen umfassen unter anderem Gymnastik, Leichtathletik, Schwimmen und Bewegungsspiele.
